Reward for Safe Working leads to an FHLTA Donation

The FHLTA are fortunate to receive wonderful donations (see our website donation list) from many individuals for a variety of reasons. It is also important to recognise that occasionally we receive donations from commercial organisations.

Recently a donation of £5000 was given to the charity by a local business.

Technip’s Project Safety Incentive Scheme lead to BSR Pipeline Services and TATA Steel 20″ Mill ( in Hartlepool) receiving a financial reward, in recognition of outstanding safety performance levels.

John Thompson Harwood, BSR General Manager, expressed his satisfaction in gaining the reward which reflected ” everyone’s efforts in routinely approaching tasks in a safe way”. He commented that it was the company’s “pleasure to pass this reward on to the FHLTA to acknowledge all the wonderful work they do”.
