The FHLTA have a team of young children and teenagers who compete in the British Transplant Games and the Winter Games.
British Transplant Games 2016 – Liverpool
The start of the British transplant games in Liverpool 2016, everyone from the team, competitors and supporters ready for the start of the opening ceremony.
Our very own Oliver Harrison, was part of the opening ceremony, handing over the flag from Newcastle to Liverpool. The whole team were very proud of him. As were his family, it demonstrated how his confidence has improved in the past two years.
Day two of the games.
The end of day two was rounded off with all of the children trampolining with their friend’s from other team’s and parent’s relaxing for an hour after a busy day.
The Day was rounded off with our own award’s ceremony and party, all children received a Trophy and certificate presented by the Chuf representatives Sam and Alex.
With Louisa and Rachel winning this year’s Star Award’s this year the Griffiths family won the family fundraising shield, and the cake award went to the Park’s family, we also gave out certificates and extremely small trophies to Kerry McGregor and Kay Husband for swimming across Windermere and Howard Griffiths for being our swim coach for the last 5 years, And Rebecca Long for becoming our Teen coordinator this year, which she did very well.
