Fundraising Success in Northern Ireland

Dermot Kearney who received a heart transplant at the Freeman hospital wanted to give something back and he certainly has.
Dermot and Caroline Kearney and Clare McCloskey arranged a huge charity night on 11 November 2023 in Northern Ireland and raised an amazing amount for our Freeman Heart and Lung Transplant charity.
The charity event was a roaring success raising a phenomenal £130,000.000 and counting in support of the Freeman Heart and Lung Transplant Association.
Adele Lambert, Chair of the FHLTA had the pleasure of meeting with Dermot, Caroline and Claire and was presented with a cheque, along with Dr Meachery, FHLTA President and other staff from the Freeman Hospital.
The FHLTA Trustees and members would like to thank everyone involved in this event, as these funds will make a huge difference to us and enable us to continue supporting patients and families of heart and lung transplantation at the Freeman Hospital.
See link to video that shares Dermot’s fundraising story and the hope that some funds with go towards supporting the medical research in heart transportation boxes, which the FHLTA  are already in the process of arranging.
The FHLTA would like to add that we are extremely grateful to every single person who raises or donates to our charity in support of the work we do, regardless of the amount raised – we thank you all, you are all important to us and hugely appreciated.
